Dive into the deep end

Read time : 6 min

It’s hot and sunny, the perfect combination for taking a pleasant dip surrounded by nature and breathtaking landscapes.

When the temperature rises in the Vosges Mountains, we like to bask in the sun and cool off in nature. With more than 1000 lakes and plenty of swimming pools in the area, there’s something for everyone when summer comes around.

Massif des Vosges - Se jeter à l'eau

Discover a white sandy beach around Gérardmer Lake for basking in the sun.

Take the plunge

During the summer, everyone flocks to the ponds, rivers and mountain lakes for swimming and water sports. Some like to sunbathe, while others prefer staying active on the water. The water sports centres in the Vosges Mountains offer all kinds of activities for all ages.

Glide through water

Looking to relax? Set sail on Gérardmer Lake. Unwind to the sounds of the water aboard a boat or a pedalo. Looking for action? Try your hand at windsurfing on the lake. By the whims of the wind, glide along the water while learning to master your sail. Such a sense of freedom!

“Vosges dans l’vent “offers electric boat and pedalo rentals on the lake.

To the pool!

We swim, jump and dive in a family atmosphere. The little ones have fun in the wading pool while the big kids go down the slides again and again. To finish off a great afternoon, we enjoy a bit of ice cream as a family.
